Engineering Stores Coordinator
The Engineering Store Coordinator is responsible for the efficient running of the engineer’s store.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing and maintaining the store’s inventory system and processing Engineering Parts requisitions, quotes, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
- Carrying out regular stock checks, maintaining stock levels and budget spreadsheets, and providing reports.
- Liaising with suppliers, ordering parts in the most cost-effective way in line with engineering requirements and challenging discrepancies.
- Checking and updating goods delivered against supplier’s paperwork and updating the computerised system with delivery details.
- Preparing paperwork for returning goods to suppliers and managing the booking out/in system for all engineers.
- Reporting to Engineering Management any issues which are likely to affect the smooth running of the store and identifying any training requirements which may be beneficial to the role or the department.
- Always adhere to company policies including the personal hygiene policy, using correct manual handling techniques, and always wearing the correct PPE.
- Understand, support, and promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Hours of Work
Your normal contractual hours of work are 45 hours per week. You will work five days in any seven and you will work nine hours per day. Your normal working hours will be 07.00-16.00 or 08.00-17.00, Monday to Friday inclusive. However, your working times may vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business.
