Join a major UK nuclear project as part of the alliance delivering the Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC (MEH) works at Hinkley Point C. We’re looking for a completions-focused Mechanical Records Discipline Lead, to manage, coordinate, and deliver discipline-specific LTQR (Lifetime Quality Records) documentation across MEH site areas.

In this role, you’ll act as the main point of contact for mechanical records, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed on time. You’ll work closely with Area LTQR Coordinators, Assurance, and Site Teams to track installation progress, verify records in Teamcenter, and support end-of-erection status reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all mechanical discipline records.
  • Liaise with site and assurance teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of LTQRs.
  • Review, verify, and resolve documentation issues to maintain compliance and traceability.
  • Manage documentation tracking, asset installation verification, and record control.
  • Support project completions and reporting through consistent coordination and communication.

Experience:

  • Qualified in Mechanical Engineering (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent apprenticeship).
  • Experienced in document management systems (EDMS) and metadata control.
  • Background in quality assurance/control within construction, heavy industry, or nuclear projects.
  • Comfortable working in large, multi-disciplinary project environments
  • Strong IT skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
