Job Description

We’re creating something special. We are joining forces to create the biggest mobile network provider in the UK. Through our collective strengths and talents, we will transform customers’ experience and create a best-in-class network for coverage, connectivity, and reliability, delivering greater value and more choice for the nation than ever before.

There are very few moments in our careers where we can feel the ground shifting beneath us, where we can sense that something bigger than we’ve known before is taking shape. We’re not just building a company. We’re going to build a culture, a legacy and a future to be proud of. This will require remarkable leadership and together we can set the standard in the industry and beyond for both customer and employee experience, in what it is a career-defining opportunity.

This role reports to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and is responsible for delivering clear, accurate insights into the financial performance of Vodafone Three through month‑end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. A key part of the role is connecting financial data with operational performance to support strategic decision‑making and maintain strong financial discipline across the organisation.

The role works cross‑functionally with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders to build, review, and explain business performance and plans, identifying risks and opportunities along the way. It also collaborates closely with colleagues across FP&A to shape the financial narrative and align performance insights with the strategic goals of the business. Coaching, communicating, and positively influencing a broad range of colleagues is essential to ensure a shared understanding of performance drivers and business outcomes.

  • Prepare clear, executive‑level reports, dashboards, and presentations that focus on effective data storytelling and practical, actionable insights.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial guidance, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Consolidate initiatives, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers from across the business to help shape the financial narrative and provide timely, accurate reporting.
  • Lead the consolidation and development of the long‑range plan and contribute to the setting of business‑wide targets.
  • Act as a strong advocate for internal controls and IFRS standards, ensuring SOX compliance is embedded across all financial processes.
  • Review existing processes and working practices to identify opportunities for efficiency, enhanced insight, and improved analysis.
  • Carry out market and economic analysis and apply this insight to anticipate future performance trends and potential opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with and supporting director‑level stakeholders, with the ability to influence outcomes while maintaining a strong customer focus.
  • Contributes to shaping long-term strategy by using data and insight to inform business direction.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in business partnering and strong commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and explore new possibilities—both individually and collaboratively.
  • Able to engage, align, and empower teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
