The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning activities and interventions
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping children to access the curriculum and develop confidence
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive

The Essentials: To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have experience working with children with additional needs in a school or care setting
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Possess a valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Provide professional references covering the last two years
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
