Job Description

Make a Real Difference Every Day!

Are you a patient, empathetic, and resilient person looking for a rewarding role in education? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team.

In this role, you won't just be helping with lessons; you'll be the bridge to learning for children with additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH). You'll provide the 1-on-1 support and encouragement they need to thrive both socially and academically.

What you'll do:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour with a calm, positive approach.
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to track and celebrate progress.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience with Special Educational Needs
  • A "can-do" approach and a great sense of humour.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.

Why join us?

  • A warm, inclusive school community.
  • Ongoing professional development and training via The National College
  • The chance to see the direct impact of your work every single day.
  • A dedicated consulant to guide and support you through your placement.
