Tradewind Recruitment are supporting this Client, a successful Roman Catholic secondary school in Redbridge, in recruiting a Teacher of History and Politics. This is a full-time role beginning in September 2026 on a 1-year fixed contract. Ofsted inspectors praised this Client for its strong leadership, respectful school environment and ambitious curriculum. Students are motivated learners who respond well to the high expectations set by staff. The successful candidate will teach History at KS3 and KS4 and contribute to the delivery of Politics within the humanities department. The role will involve planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress and supporting students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and have strong subject knowledge in History and Politics. Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 is essential. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students and contribute positively to the humanities department. This Client offers a supportive working environment with strong leadership, excellent professional development opportunities and a collaborative staff culture. The school is located in Redbridge with good transport links including nearby Underground stations such as Gants Hill and Ilford rail station providing easy access from across East London.
