Job Description

After School Club Assistant

Location - Oakington, Cambridge

Salary- £14.24-£16.50 per hour depending on experienced and qualification.

Hours - 3 hours day 5 days a week

Contract Long term, Temporary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional with a passion for supporting children's development in a structured, safe and engaging after school environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver structured and engaging after school club activities for children aged 5-1.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and well manged environment at all times.
  • Support children Social, Emotional and Development needs.
  • Work in accordance with the EYFS framework and safeguarding Policies
  • Provide effective support for pupils with special education needs.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, parents and careers.

Requirement for the Ater School Club Assistant role

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
  • Experienced working with children aged 5-11 years
  • Strong knowledge on the EYFS framework
  • Experience supporting children with SEN needs.
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Reliable, Punctual and professions approach.
