As the KS2 teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Teach purposeful lessons in line with National Curriculum standards. Whilst there are established educational schemes in place, you will be encouraged to adapt and bring creativity into teaching.
  • Build an effective rapport with pupils based on trust and mutual respect and act a positive role model to encourage positive choices and behaviours.
  • Use both formative and summative assessment strategies, geared around effective questioning to determine who has met learning objectives and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Incorporate modern technology into lessons, alongside a variety of visual, auditory, and hands-on approaches to ensure learning is engaging and accessible for all
  • Be an excellent team player who shares best practice and contribute to all aspects of school life.

This class teaching position provides a challenging, yet highly rewarding environment, ideal for a teacher who is resilient, reflective, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with experience or strong interest in Key Stage 2
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
  • Have a strong understanding of how to support pupils with diverse needs, including SEND
  • Be able to provide references to demonstrate excellent classroom proficiency.
  • Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and overseas police check (if applicable)

In return, the school offers a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a lasting impact within a close-knit school community.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and those earlier in their careers who are eager to develop within a supportive and purposeful setting.
