About the Role

As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will support students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of the sector, preparing them for further education or careers in health and social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
  • Support students with coursework and exam preparation

Requirements

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level

- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

- Excellent classroom management skills

- A commitment to raising achievement and student outcomes

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
