Location: Leicester
Contract: Full-time (Long term supply)
Key Stages: KS3-KS4
Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team from April 2026 to cover absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to inspire students and support strong academic progress across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The Role:

• Deliver well-structured, engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach a broad range of topics across KS3 and KS4, maintaining high expectations for all learners
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and achievement
• Differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Support enrichment activities or targeted interventions where required

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
