Tradewind are currently recruiting for a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Tameside on a full-time basis starting in September. This KS2 role is paid in line with MPS1-MPS6 and is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking to further develop their practice.

You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, with the possibility of extension. The school delivers a broad and stimulating curriculum designed to build confidence, independence, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. There is a strong emphasis on core subjects, alongside a commitment to supporting pupil's personal development and well being.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 3 or Year 4), with a strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Knowledge of Read Write Inc. phonics, or a willingness to learn and confidently deliver the programme
  • A nurturing and inclusive approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with schemes such as White Rose Maths and Oxford Reading Tree to support high-quality teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to contribute fully to school life

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check and overseas police check if applicable
  • Excellent references to support previous teaching.
  • Right to work in the UK
