Salary: £168.80 - £261.78 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

### The Opportunity

[Employer hidden] are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Durham to recruit a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You'll play a key role in developing students' literacy, analytical thinking, and love for literature, helping them build essential skills for academic success and beyond.

### Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Teaching a range of topics including literature, language, and creative writing
• Planning engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Contributing to the wider school community where required

### What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A passion for education and inspiring young learners
• Adaptability and confidence across different school settings
