Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Oldham - Primary School Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, long-term

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual committed to supporting children's learning and development in a dynamic school environment.

About the Role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role across the school, supporting teaching and learning in a variety of classroom settings. You will deliver targeted interventions, support individual pupils, and provide whole-class cover during teacher PPA time. Confidence in classroom management and adaptability are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Provide whole-class cover when required
  • Support small groups and individual pupils to help them achieve their full potential
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of pupils' progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • The ability to motivate, inspire, and engage young learners
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
