Are you a QTS-qualified primary teacher looking for a Year 4 role in Harrow? Join a school where strong teaching, purposeful planning and genuine care for every pupil create classrooms children love to be part of.

About the role

[Employer hidden] is working with Harrow primary schools to find a confident Year 4 Teacher for September 2026, available on a full-time or part-time basis.

In Year 4, pupils develop greater independence as learners. You will deliver the KS2 National Curriculum with creativity and rigour, with a particular focus on times tables (including the Multiplication Tables Check), reading for pleasure, written composition and mathematical reasoning.

You will use data and assessment to personalise learning, support pupils with SEND and EAL, and work as part of a close-knit year group team with shared planning and collaborative practice.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • KS2 teaching experience, ideally in Years 3-5
  • Familiarity with the Multiplication Tables Check and strategies for times tables fluency
  • Strong subject knowledge in core and foundation subjects
  • Confident in differentiation for SEND, EAL and mixed-ability groups
  • Good use of formative and summative assessment to drive pupil progress
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge
