Job Title: Part-Time Teaching Assistant Location: Wirral Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time Only

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role in education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact while working flexibly around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and activities
  • Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting (desirable)
  • A patient, caring, and supportive nature
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A proactive and flexible approach
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is advantageous but not essential
