We are currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school environment.
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work, offering valuable classroom experience and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups across a range of subjects
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide targeted support for students with additional needs, including SEN
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Support students' academic progress and emotional wellbeing
- Contribute to lesson preparation and classroom organisation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recent degree or expected completion in 2026 or 2027 (any subject considered, though education, psychology, or related fields are advantageous)
- A genuine interest in working within education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
