Behaviour Mentor - SEMH SEN Teaching Assistant
£92.56-£105 per day | Northwich & Winsford | Immediate start

We're working with specialist SEN schools and alternative provisions across Northwich and Winsford who are looking for confident, resilient individuals to join them as Behaviour Mentors and SEN Teaching Assistants.

These Behaviour Mentor SEMH roles involve supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), challenging behaviour, ADHD, and additional needs, so would suit someone who is comfortable working in a structured but demanding SEN and education environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in behaviour support, youth work, care, sports coaching, or alternative education settings, where building relationships and managing behaviour are key.

The role:

  • Managing behaviour, de-escalating situations, and promoting positive outcomes
  • Building strong, consistent relationships with pupils
  • Supporting learning and engagement within a structured SEN setting

We're looking for:

  • Experience in behaviour support, SEN, youth work, care, or similar
  • A calm, confident, and resilient personality
  • Someone comfortable managing challenging behaviour
  • Candidates who are available and ready to work full-time

What we offer:

  • £92.56-£105 per day
  • Long-term Behaviour Mentor and SEN Teaching Assistant opportunities
  • Ongoing CPD including behaviour management and SEN training
  • Support from a dedicated consultant within the education sector
