[Employer hidden] is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about literature and language, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

The Role:

You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, and analytical skills. The school has a supportive English department and a strong focus on student progress and achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons
• Support students in developing literacy and critical thinking skills
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to departmental planning and school activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for English and student development
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
