Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: April or May 2026
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £100-£160 per day (depending on experience and school support)

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton that is seeking an enthusiastic Unqualified Spanish Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for language graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong Spanish knowledge and experience working with young people.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and structured Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Support pupils in developing confidence across speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors to develop your teaching skills
• Contribute to departmental activities and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong Spanish language skills (degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or similar)
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
• A genuine interest in education and progressing into teaching
• Ideal for those considering teacher training routes (PGCE, SCITT, or apprenticeships)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
