Have you recently graduated with a Maths degree and are considering a career in education?

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience ahead of a PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct programme. In some cases, schools may also be able to support you directly into teacher training, providing a clear and structured pathway into the profession.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Maths teachers with lesson delivery across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Leading small group and 1:1 intervention sessions to raise attainment
  • Helping pupils develop confidence in key mathematical concepts
  • Assisting with lesson planning, marking, and classroom organisation
  • Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Contributing to wider school life through Maths clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment

Who We're Looking For:

  • A recent Maths graduate (or related degree such as Engineering, Physics, or Economics) with a 2:2 or above
  • A confident communicator with a positive and approachable manner
  • A genuine interest in working with young people and pursuing a career in teaching
  • An aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference
