About the Role:
In this role, you will support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, both inside and outside the classroom. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to help students stay engaged, develop coping strategies, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Support students in managing emotions and behaviour
  • Assist with the delivery of tailored learning and support plans
  • Encourage positive engagement and resilience
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff
  • Contribute to a supportive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
  • A strong interest in mental health, wellbeing, or education
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and build rapport quickly
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Relevant studies or training (e.g., Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work) are beneficial but not essential
