Job Description

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashton. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, alongside general classroom assistance.

The Role

Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children with SEN
A degree or relevant qualification (desirable)
A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Essential Requirements

An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply *(DBS cost refunded after 20 days worked)*
A full 10-year employment/education history
At least two professional references (including your most recent employer)
Legal right to work in the UK
