Job Description

English Teacher - Full Time (KS3 & KS4)
Start Date: 1st May | Until End of Summer Term

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Skelmersdale. This is a full-time position, starting on 1st May and continuing through to the end of the academic year.

We are seeking a specialist English teacher who is confident delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to develop their literacy skills and love of language.

The Role:

  • Full-time English teaching position
  • Delivering high-quality lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Planning, marking, and assessment in line with school expectations
  • Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in English
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • A full career history At least two professional references, including your most recent placement
  • The legal right to work in the UK
