About the Role

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher specialising in GCSE and A-Level to join one of our highly regarded secondary clients in Islington. This role focuses exclusively on KS4 and KS5, making it ideal for a teacher confident in delivering challenging mathematical concepts and preparing students for exam success.

You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching GCSE Maths and A-Level Maths to motivated learners.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, exam-focused lessons.
  • Preparing students for AQA/Edexcel examinations.
  • Monitoring progress through assessments and feedback.
  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Inspiring students to pursue further study in maths, STEM, and beyond.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge of the GCSE & A-Level Maths curriculum.
  • Experience teaching KS4 & KS5 in a UK secondary setting.
  • Ability to deliver lessons that stretch and challenge high-achieving students.
  • A commitment to raising pupil achievement and progress.
