Experienced Teaching Assistant - Full Time (May Start)

- £95-£100 per day (PAYE)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- May 2026 - July 2026 (with potential to continue in September)
[Employer hidden] are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham.
This is a full-time role starting in May, working 5 days per week until the end of the academic year in July. There is a strong possibility for the successful candidate to continue into the new academic year from September 2026.
About the Role:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with pupils across KS1 or KS2, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
