Secondary Supply Teachers - KS3 & KS4

Location: Rotherham
Contract Type: Supply (Flexible / Ongoing Opportunities)
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Are you a passionate and adaptable secondary teacher looking for flexible work across a range of schools? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to work across our partnership secondary schools in Rotherham.

About the Role

As a supply teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a range of subjects, depending on your specialism and school requirements. Assignments may be short-term, long-term, or day-to-day cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings, policies, and student needs
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school, or create engaging lessons where required
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress when necessary
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (KS3 and KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to teach at least one subject specialism (all subject areas considered)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
