FULL DESCRIPTION

Health and Social Care Teacher

Health and Social Care Teacher

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are recruiting for a Health and Social Care Teacher (Key Stage 5) to teach at a fantastic school within Hull. This is to cover an absence due to a sickness, starting 11th May and ending 22nd June. There is the chance that this will increase in the future, but this cannot be verified until closer to the end of the academic year. Full planning and marking are expected for this position, so payment will be in line with the main teaching scale, between £168.80 to £232.56. This will initially start on a full time basis until May Half Term, and then move to a 3 day per week booking.

This role will involve teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 5 students, specifically teaching BTEC Level 3. This college does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher.

Located within Hull this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on via the car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through one term of their ECT. We are excited to receive applications from teachers who have experience teaching Science but not applied science.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role means you can be offered other shifts and roles through [Employer hidden].
