We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to help us prepare these incredible animals for their new lives beyond the track.
Key Responsibilities
- Equine Care: Provide high-quality care for all horses and animals on-site.
- Yard Management: Maintain clean, tidy, and safe stables, yard, and equipment for the benefit of our horses, teachers, and students.
- Opportunity to ride depending on experience.
About You
We are looking for a professional team player who can handle horses quietly and confidently. You should have: Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne Horse Box. Excellent horse management and care skills with the ability to respond appropriately to emergencies. Good articulation to represent Greatwood professionally to carers and visitors. A reliable, flexible, and physically fit approach to work. You should be happy working flexible hours, including weekends, and able to adapt to changing priorities.

REQUIREMENTS
- Aware of health and safety
- Happy to take orders
- Have thorough sound knowledge of Thoroughbreds
- Be able to handle horses quietly, confidently, kindly and competently
- May need to work weekends, within a team.
- Be kind, polite and welcoming to visitors
- Undertake duties in a confident and responsible manner
