Groom-Mother's Help

Job Description

I am seeking a wonderful mother's help/groom, to run our small family yard and assist with running/organizing the household. On the domestic side, someone who can combine yard work with excellent housekeeping skills and household management is the most likely candidate to succeed in this position.

The yard on our Cotswold's farm includes two nice event horses, so a competent rider required. Excellent stables, grazing etc. Flat work, hacking, and helping my two teenage daughters with their riding is important. Ability to drive is a must. We have excellent hacking and schooling facilities. Must be a self-starter, very organised and love running a smooth operation.

Mondays - Saturdays inclusive (usually a half day).

Excellent salary for the right candidate.

Start date: as soon as possible but will wait for the right candidate. Lovely role with great accommodation if required.

A calm, happy organised person will suit this role, who has good knowledge of both yard and household management.

ACCOMMODATION

Large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom; small snug sitting room; kitchen/utility. The groom's accomodation is completely separate from the family accomodation and is very private.
