FULL DESCRIPTION
Working Student/Apprentice
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking working students/apprentices to work towards BHS examinations. This role offers excellent industry experience, structured BHS training, opportunities for further training/riding/competing, and modern accommodation. Candidates should be passionate about horses, able to walk, trot, and canter independently, and committed to the TPEC Student career programme.
Student Role Specifics:
- 3 day training week (monday-friday)
- part time employment on the weekends
- Live in or out opportunity –Modern accommodation (Single rooms/study bedroom with shared amenities)
- 6 hours of structured BHS Training over 3 days focussing on BHS assessments
- Opportunities for further training/riding/competing
- 50% off all purchases in our coffee house and restaurant, EQUUS
- Holiday including statutory holidays, bank holidays are considered as working days.
- Breakfast and lunch are provided, 7 days a week
- Receive a monthly part time employment salary
Personal Specification:
- Must be able to walk, trot and canter independently, some prior experience within the industry is preferable
- Committed to the TPEC Student career programme for a minimum of 6 months
- Must be over the age of 18+ to live onsite
- Must be a team player with an ability to work solely or in a team and thrive under pressure and be committed to the role.
- A passion for all things equine is essential.
- Must be able to work with both children and adults and maintain professionalism at all times.
- References and DBS check will be required
- Fit and healthy for the student role and the demands of an outdoor all-weather sport.
