About the Role:

We're seeking a winter Engineering Intern passionate about pushing the boundaries of nanotechnology. In this role, you'll contribute to developing and prototyping products that leverage our unique gold and silver nanoparticles. Your project will be focused on a variety of laboratory based experiments as well as Life Cycle Assessment modelling Working closely with our team, you'll help bring our scientific discoveries to market, driving [Employer hidden]'s mission forward. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and executing laboratory experiments involving gold and silver nanoparticles, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Lead on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modeling to evaluate the environmental impact of nanoparticle products.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to develop and prototype nanotechnology-based products.
  • Document experimental procedures and results, contributing to internal reports and decision-making processes.
  • Communicate progress and achievements through detailed reports and presentations, engaging with stakeholders across various platforms to sustain interest and investment in our products.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees (BSc/BEng, Masters) in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science and related field. Undergraduates from year 2 and above.
  • Over one year of hands-on laboratory experience is mandatory with excellent laboratory skills.
  • Matlab, Python, GAMS, Excel and other related data analysis modelling & analysis tools proficiency.
  • Open LCA and/or similar software as well as LCA experience is preferred.
  • Project management and budgeting skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and growth mindset.
