Human Resource Officer

We are looking for a skilled Human Resource Officer to join our HR team. This role involves managing various HR tasks such as recruitment, staff development, and maintaining employee relations to ensure a harmonious workplace. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in HR practices and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process from job posting to interviewing and hiring, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and manage any workplace conflicts that arise, promoting a positive working environment.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate the performance appraisal process and work with department managers to design and implement performance management systems.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and organise training programs to enhance employee skills and support career development.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the company’s HR policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with changes in employment law.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, manage HR documents (e.g., employment contracts and staff handbook) and other internal databases.

What We Need from You:

  • Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong understanding of employment law and employee relations.
    • High level of discretion and ethical judgment in handling confidential information.
    • Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes:
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
    • A people-oriented approach with an ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
    • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience:
