Our Fabric Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our Next product is always of the highest standard. Working alongside the Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers and Garment Technologists; this role is key to the whole product critical path from start to finish.

What You'll Take On
Supporting the fabric technology process from design concept to delivery; developing and elevating fabric quality is key here at Next within the Womenswear team. We are looking for someone with a great technical knowledge of fabric, ideally from a jersey background but not essential. Innovation is what we strive for here at Next and this fantastic area offers up some great opportunities for this. Working alongside the Fabric Technologist and with suppliers; reviewing fabric developments, setting and reviewing standards is a key part of the role. You will be an important support to the buying and design team, to help guide any decisions in line with Next quality expectations and legal requirements.

What You'll Bring
A team player; you will have great people skills to communicate effectively within a multi functional team. Using your technical experience & exceptional eye for technical detail, you will be working on a wide range of women's products including jersey and heavyweight. Utilising your qualifications & experience within fabric technology; You’ll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fabric sourcing, manufacturing, construction and performance. You’ll show drive and initiative to generate and implement new ideas in your department.
