FULL DESCRIPTION

Junior MCR Editor & Creative

We are now looking to recruit a Junior MCR Editor & Creative to join our post-production team. This role is suited to a technically confident, creatively curious editor with a minimum of two years’ professional experience in post-production. You’ll work across editing, delivery, quality control, and MCR operations, supporting a busy slate of broadcast, digital, and social projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and prepare content for broadcast, digital, and social delivery
  • Support MCR operations, including delivery workflows and technical troubleshooting
  • Carry out quality control on incoming assets and outgoing deliverables
  • Manage digital workflows, ensuring outputs meet signal, format, and technical specifications
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams throughout the post-production process
  • Work efficiently across multiple projects and tight deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a post-production, editing, or MCR-related role
  • Working knowledge of Avid
  • Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro (essential)
  • Some experience with After Effects (beneficial but not essential)
  • Understanding of broadcast and digital audio formats and delivery standards
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills and a professional, team-oriented approach

AI & Emerging Workflows

Applicants should have a solid understanding of, or practical experience with, AI-assisted creative workflows and tools such as MidJourney, Sora, Seedance, Runway, VEO / Veo, and similar platforms, and be comfortable integrating AI-generated assets into professional post-production pipelines.
