ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join in our Sales and Distribution. In this role, you will:
Drive growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities across the EU and UK for our new product. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and key clients, delivering high‑impact product presentations and securing strategic deals. You will lead market analysis, sales planning, and forecasting to strengthen revenue and expand market share, while acting as the primary client partner to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional service. You’ll also collaborate closely with our product and marketing teams to align solutions with market needs and enhance our competitive position.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the EU and UK markets for the new product.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, intermediaries’ clients, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market analysis to understand client needs and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share in the Europe regions.
- Present and demonstrate the value proposition of the new product to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to ensure alignment with market demands.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote the company's offerings.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts on sales activity and progress towards targets.
- Segment the market and identify high-potential sectors and companies for targeted outreach.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and clients regarding the product features and benefits.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall business planning process.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, competitive products, and market dynamics. Share insights and knowledge with the broader team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales collateral, and communication strategies.
- Successfully close deals and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
SKILLS AND COMPENTICIES:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the EU regions
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- A business degree in related field.
- Existing network of contacts within the industry.
- Knowledge of the UK and EU landscape and regulations to selling non-admitted insurance products.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Insurance industry, specifically dealing with group life or related insurance products.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the EU markets.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting insurance products within the UK and EU.
