Work Location: Chilworth, Southampton

Pay Rate: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour

About The Role

We are looking for friendly additions to this care team supporting a young male with cerebral palsy, who lives at home with his family and pet cat. Staff will support him at the family home, as well as accompanying him on trips out to lots of fun destinations.

The client requires full support with all aspects of daily living as he has complex clinical needs including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, peg feeding and a tracheostomy, all of which he has lived with for the majority of his life and copes with extremely well. Full clinical training is provided by [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] solutions as well as hands on training and support from his parents. Much of the role includes personal care, assistance with medications and interacting with the client to ensure he is kept entertained.

The ideal applicant will have a positive attitude, a bubbly personality, be adaptable, honest and confident. Clinical experience as a care worker is not essential but there must have a willingness to learn.

Available shifts include:

  • 12 hour weekday shifts.
  • Ad hoc respite hours available
