Summer Cleaning Roles (Fixed Term: June 8th - September 18th, 2026)

Want to spend your summer in a vibrant, dynamic environment? The [Employer hidden]'s Directorate of Facilities Management & Campus Services (DFMCS) is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Cleaning Services team this summer!

About Us: DFMCS plays a crucial role in providing outstanding facilities for work, study, and research, enhancing the student experience both on campus and online. You'll be a vital part of keeping our beautiful campus clean and welcoming!

Your Role:

  • Ensure allocated campus areas are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as directed by your Supervisor or Cleaning Manager.
  • Learn to use cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ability to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting linen bundles and operating floor cleaning machinery.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, online systems).
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Evidence of upholding our behaviours (included in our accompanying Job Description).

  • Fixed Term Contract: Week commencing June 8th, 2026 - Friday, September 18th, 2026.
  • Please note: Limited leave available between August 31st - September 11th, 2026.
