About the role
The [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking to appoint co-opted members to join its Audit and Assurance Committee.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the governance and assurance of a leading UK university, supporting robust oversight, transparency and accountability at a critical time for the higher education sector.
The Audit and Assurance Committee plays a central role in advising Council on the effectiveness of the University’s systems of risk management, internal control, governance and assurance, including internal and external audit.

We are particularly interested in individuals who can bring:
- A strong understanding of audit, risk management and assurance
- Senior experience in finance, governance, regulation or public accountability
- The confidence to provide independent challenge and constructive scrutiny
- A commitment to the values and mission of higher education

Prior experience of serving on an audit committee or equivalent body is highly desirable.
