What will your role be
Specific role responsibilities of a Solutions Analyst will include a potential combination of:
- Quickly understanding the business issues and challenges of client’s organisation and industry.
- Translate digital opportunities in a UI/UX, functional and technical design for a digital service or automated process
- Focus on the technical aspects of analysis to design and deliver complex solutions
- Write clear, concise and accurate specifications that describe the technical aspects of a solution, such as GUI interface, functional specifications, user stories, test cases, user manuals, etc
- Work with stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product provided.
- Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for operational improvements and changes.
- Communicate the benefits of recommendations and solutions across functions and address uncertainty and concern.
- Identify and evaluate potential solution options including opportunities and potential risks.
- Manage the business and technical requirements through the entire change/development lifecycle.
- Work with other analysts in the UK business to grow knowledge and capabilities
## Experience
- Approximately 5 years’ experience within a project delivery environment.
- Ability to mediate between low-level technical detail and higher-level objectives
- Experience working as a Business Analyst or Solutions Analyst in a scrum team and supporting product owners to articulate needs across epics, features and user stories
- Ability to facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and key information
- Experience of delivering COTS (Custom Off The Shelf) solutions
- Evidencable examples of modelling complex requirements, systems and solutions
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You will be able to understand client challenges and translate these into solutions.
- Ideally degree level educated, within a technology and/or business discipline
- Qualifications in Business Analysis, UML or Agile
- Relevant professional qualifications based on domain area expertise (Business Architecture – TOGAF, Six Sigma, Business Architecture Body of Knowledge, Data Architect – Data Management, Business Analysis – BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis) or the equivalent gained through practical experience.
