Job description

Asset Manager – Renewables

A leading international energy company is looking for an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of renewable generation and battery energy storage (BESS) assets across the UK & Ireland.

This London-based role will focus on optimising asset performance, managing commercial agreements, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across wind, solar and energy storage projects.

Location: London (with some UK travel)

Salary: Up to 110k

Car Allowance: £6,000

Bonus: Up to 15% + excellent benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational and commercial performance of renewable and BESS assets
  • Work with trading and commercial teams to maximise asset value
  • Oversee key contracts including O&M agreements and service arrangements
  • Manage maintenance programmes, budgets and asset optimisation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards
  • Support the commissioning and handover of new renewable and storage projects
  • Manage relationships with partners, contractors and key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience in renewable energy, power generation or energy infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of asset management, operations or technical performance of energy assets
  • Experience managing contracts, suppliers and operational budgets
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
  • Engineering or relevant technical background preferred
