Cyber Security Consultant (Incident Management)

Cyber Incident Management Consultant (3-Month Contract | Immediate Start) We’re supporting a leading UK Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) energy organisation in the search for an experienced Cyber Incident Management Consultant to join on an initial 3-month contract.

    Key Details - Contract Length: 3 months - Start Date: Immediate - Location: UK-based (remote)

    This is a critical role focused on strengthening cyber resilience across a complex, highly regulated environment.

    What You’ll Be Doing - Design and develop cyber incident management strategies and response plans - Assess and enhance existing incident response frameworks and processes - Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure robust preparedness and response capability - Align incident management practices with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS Regulations) - Support the organisation in improving response, recovery, and resilience to cyber incidents

    What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in Cyber Incident Management within complex organisations - Background in energy, utilities, or Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments - Strong understanding of incident response frameworks, governance, and best practice - Ability to operate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams - Experience developing playbooks, response plans, and escalation processes
