On behalf of a leading Nottinghamshire marketing agency, we’re recruiting a talented and visionary Head of Digital who can combine commercial leadership with strategic innovation to drive meaningful digital transformation and sustained revenue growth.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic development and commercial growth of the digital capability, with ownership of the P&L, pipeline and revenue targets
  • Shaping and continuously improving the organisation’s digital proposition, ensuring competitiveness, commercial viability and alignment with market trends
  • Managing, developing and structuring a multi‑disciplinary digital team to support delivery excellence and long‑term capability growth
  • Overseeing delivery processes, quality standards and operational efficiency to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and to agreed specifications
  • Playing an active role in client engagement, contributing to strategic planning, solution development and senior-level account leadership
  • Leading new business activity including pitch strategy, proposal development and relationship-building with prospective clients
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and introducing emerging technologies, tools and methodologies to enhance client outcomes and internal efficiency

Required skills and experience:

  • Leadership experience gained within a digital or integrated agency environment
  • Demonstrable success in commercial growth, including managing sales targets and full P&L accountability
  • Experience in managing and developing multi‑disciplinary digital teams across development, UX, strategy and delivery
  • Strong background in digital delivery, including oversight of development, UX, technical platforms and project management
  • Proven experience in proposition development, go‑to‑market planning and leading new business activity
  • Strong commercial and financial skills, including forecasting, pricing and margin management
  • Technical fluency across modern digital technologies and platforms, with the ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies effectively
