Position Grain Store & Dryer Operator

Location Bedfordshire

Period Mid July - End September 2025

The Role

Bedfordia contracting in Bedfordshire is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grain Store & Dryer Operator to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the end of Harvest in late August early September.

Located in Bedfordshire, the 2,000-hectare Bedfordia arable unit grows combinable and environmental crops.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Grain Store & Dryer Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the operation of the 22,600mt grain storage facility
  • Assisting with operating the 100+tph grain dryer
  • General harvest duties
  • Local grain carting if required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Tractor driving experience preferred.
  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
