Digital Content Designer – Digital & Customer Experience Team

Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis

Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package

Location: Swindon, Whiteley or Farnborough – hybrid working arrangements

What will you be doing?

  • Use research, data, and evidence to guide content decisions—ensuring everything we create is purposeful and customer-centric and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across teams, influencing stakeholders and building strong relationships to champion customer needs.
  • Create and improve clear, accessible web content that puts customers first.
  • Apply [Employer hidden]’s style guides and content standards, helping us maintain consistency and professionalism in across our websites
  • Manage content throughout its lifecycle in an agile, delivery-focused environment, using digital tools and flexible ways of working.
  • Connect with the wider Customer Office community, sharing ideas and best practices to support growth and innovation
  • Work closely with UX teams and stakeholders to design, test, and deliver effective digital content.
  • Apply [Employer hidden]’s tone of voice, content standards, and accessibility requirements consistently.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience creating and improving customer focused digital content, using research, data and insight to guide decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong ability to write clear, accessible web content that puts customer needs first
  • Confident applying tone of voice, style guides and content standards, including accessibility requirements
  • Experience managing content across its full lifecycle in a busy, agile environment, using digital tools and CMS platforms
  • Proven collaborator, able to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams
  • Experience working closely with UX and design teams to test, refine and deliver effective digital content
  • Comfortable sharing ideas and best practice within a wider content or customer community to support innovation and improvement
