As part of the Department for Communities Job Start Scheme, the NI Sports Forum is recruiting for a Communications Officer. Through the scheme, the successful candidate will undertake a 6 month role working 25 hours per week.

Job Duties:

Create content and maintain NI Sports Forum websites and social channels.
Ensure that digital channels and relevant social media platforms are populated with NISF content, such as case studies, events and insight.
Publish best practice case studies to showcase our work, provide insight for partners and attract new partners to help develop the work of the NISF.
Provide input for regular digital communications such as our e-newsletter and social media channels.
Dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, helping build and maintain effective working relationships.
Identify potential media opportunities at key points of activities.
Support the design and production of relevant publications.
Support relevant subcommittees as required.
Monitoring programme budgets alongside the Finance Administrator.
Qualifications / Experience:
Knowledge of content management systems, such as WordPress.
Strong communication and written skills.
A team player and flexibility in working hours
An interest in sport and physical recreation is desired, but not essential
A third level qualification in a relevant area would be desirable
Access to transport would be desirable
