The Role

Fulfilment Centre Associates form the backbone of our operations - they manage the picking and packing of customer orders, delivery handover to our assigned riders, all whilst ensuring accurate stock management.

In addition to playing a key role in [Employer hidden]’s operations, you’ll also enjoy a strong career path ahead of you - those who demonstrate strong performance in this position will have the opportunity to progress into a role as Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer orders quickly, accurately and with a high level of care.
  • Securing packed orders before handover to our third party riders.
  • Ensuring your [Employer hidden] Store is clean and tidy at all times and that any potential hazards are dealt with safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a high level of stock accuracy by conducting thorough stock checks.
  • Checking stock availability and expiry dates whenever picking items or adding items to stock.
  • Ensuring deliveries are added to stock and scanned on the system correctly.
  • Investigating discrepancies and using your initiative to resolve issues.
  • Helping with ad-hoc tasks when the need arises.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Comfortable communicating in English
  • Great listening and communication skills
  • Punctual with time management, with the ability to be flexible
  • Proactive and able to take initiative with problem solving
  • Can work at a fast pace and under pressure
  • Experience of working in retail (desirable, but not essential)
  • Skilled with a barcode scanner (desirable, but not essential.
