Financial Reporting Manager
#### About the role We’re supporting a well-established organisation with a strong market presence and ongoing growth. This is a key role within the central finance function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. The role This is a high-impact role where you will lead financial reporting, technical accounting and governance across a complex group structure. You will act as the go-to person for reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice, while also driving improvements across the wider finance function. Key responsibilities - Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including group consolidation - Own statutory accounts preparation and external reporting requirements - Act as the technical accounting lead across IFRS and UK GAAP - Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax and other regulatory obligations - Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors - Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting processes - Contribute to acquisitions, finance projects and process improvements - Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting frameworks About you - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - Strong background in financial reporting and technical accounting - Experience within a multi-entity or complex environment - Working knowledge of tax and compliance requirements - Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business - Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement What’s on offer - High visibility role with exposure to senior leadership - Broad remit across reporting, tax, governance and projects - Opportunity to shape and improve processes within a growing organisation - Supportive and collaborative finance environment NRG is an equal opportunities employer committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
