We are seeking a talented Client Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Services team in London, where you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of [Employer hidden] Global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day‑to‑day integrity of client ledgers and reviewing bookkeeper input
- Preparing routine month‑end and quarter‑end management accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting workings
- Acting as the central point of contact for external auditors
- Preparing and reviewing audit support schedules and documentation
- Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
- Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and service line development
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant policies, procedures, and controls
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- The successful candidate will proactively take on additional responsibilities as required and support junior team members when necessary
- We are seeking an individual studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with a few years’ experience, strong numeracy and analytical skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience in client accounting or accounts preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Markets accounting environments is desirable but not essential. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, along with excellent communication and time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
