Protection Pricing Manager
I am excited to be partnered with a leading reinsurer in securing a Pricing Manager for their growing protection pricing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a team, oversee delivery of pricing work, and play a key role in decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring high-quality, timely outputs across pricing activities.
About the Role
I am excited to be partnered with a leading reinsurer in securing a Pricing Manager for their growing protection pricing team.
- Lead delivery of pricing activity, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs
- Review and oversee team work, including analysis, assumptions, and modelling
- Provide line management, coaching, and development for team members
- Support planning and prioritisation of team workload
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute to client-related work
- Monitor performance of existing agreements and support experience analysis
- Contribute to assumption development and pricing basis review
- Support improvements to tools, processes, and ways of working
- Provide input into wider initiatives, including product and proposition development
About You
- Qualified actuary with experience in pricing (protection pricing is advantageous)
- Strong understanding of pricing processes (experience analysis, assumptions, modelling)
- Experience leading or managing others
- Strong analytical skills with ability to make decisions
- Confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders
- Able to challenge constructively and influence decision-making
