FULL DESCRIPTION

The Bars Site Manager will oversee and manage the build and break period while also supporting the team during live event days. Responsibilities include managing on-site activities, ensuring kit and infrastructure are in place, communicating shortages, assigning tasks, client liaison, and daily equipment checks.

THE ROLE

The purpose of the Bars Site Manager is to oversee and manage the build and break period whilst also supporting the team during Live event days

Manage all build and break on site activity, from delivery, collection distribution, counting and associated personnel. To ensure all kit and key infrastructure is in place ready for the Event Manager and Operations team.

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure Kit truck is positioned and all kit unloaded ready for distribution
  • Bars compound is suitably laid out and ground protected
  • Ensure office and welfare facilities are set up for on site crew
  • Ensure any kit shortages are communicated to event manager
  • Assign tasks to build and break crew to ensure daily schedule is met
  • Client liaison with client, site manager and site crew
  • Daily checks of plant and equipment
  • Ensure all personnel are inducted and correct PPE in place

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experienced in managing in a fast-paced hospitality, production or events setting.
  • An understanding of the demands of both the festival and hospitality industry (seasonally fluctuating busy periods)
  • Good with spreadsheets
  • An understanding of the importance of valuing and motivating a team
  • Full Driver’s Licence
  • Personal Licence Holder
  • First Aid and / or Food Safety certification
